If you lose balance while doing a movement (walk, ochos, and etc.) but are stable with a partner, your partner is doing the work to keep you on balance and thus he/she is being burdened. Practice walking and ochos alone until you can do them with balance.
When balance is slightly lost, it can be restored by small adjustments in the feet (pushing the floor with a side of a foot, for example) and other parts of the body. Try and find your ways to do such small adjustments to keep balance as you take a step or make an ocho if needed. If attention is paid to the details, loss of balance can be corrected at its onset (in the middle of a walk or a pivot). If attention is not paid, then after a walk or a pivot the balance is already lost too much and restoring it is not possible without the partner’s help.
